Camp Overview

This three-week course will allow students who took AP Calculus to strengthen their knowledge of difficult topics and be ready for calculus in college. They will explore and review key concepts, methods and applications of single variable calculus, including, but not limited to, functions, graphs, limits, derivatives, integrals and the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Students will also review additional differential and integral calculus topics, such as parametric, polar and vector functions, and series. There will be an emphasis on using technology to help solve problems, experiment, interpret results and support conclusions. Students will gain a level of understanding of calculus topics such that they will be competitive in their introductory and post-introductory calculus courses at the university level.

Prerequisite: Calculus
