Camp Overview

This four-day course is designed to prepare new and returning Grade 9 Torreys for a great experience in Upper School. Students meet new classmates and foster connections to start the school year feeling at home on campus. Working with classroom educators, the head librarian and athletic director, students navigate the learning management system and Google Drive, set up lockers, learn effective study skills, Upper School expectations, take a deep dive into research and learn about the athletic program.

Led by LJCDS Upper School Educators Daniella Aviles (world language), Kailey Giordano, Ph.D. (humanities), Aakash Kumar, Ph.D. (science), plus Director of Libraries Rafa Eaton and Director of Athletics Jeff Hutzler
